Take a bow

Bows are not just for tuxedos anymore. This spring, we saw bows everywhere in both men's and women's wear. At the Academy Awards this year, almost all actors, including George Clooney and Johnny Depp wore their tuxedos paired with bows. Simultaneously, a lot of major designers styled their girls with bows on the spring runway. Bow are like the new accessories that women borrowed from men, they serve the same function as scarves or necklaces. The girl who ties a big bow on herself looks like a naughty but interesting girl who steals Daddy's bow. Bows add the boyish playfulness to any "too-girly girls".

This spring, bows are everywhere, on blouses, one-piece dresses, and even spring vests. The five images above all belong to Marc by Marc's 2008 S/S runway collection. Bows are feminine touchs this spring and summer.

Spring " must have"

high waisted and suspender pants and skirts with buttons. This is a revolution of proportion; high waisted pants or skirts visually elongate your lower body, and even short girls will get to try on the long "leggy"look. The look alone is so simple, elegant, meanwhile trendy and chic. High-waisted pants with suspenders will add a boyish playfulness to any wardrobe that may have become too serious.

Solid color tights

Accessories will play a big role in this spring and summer. You will see girls wearing solid color tights, and leggings all around town. Fashion risk takers should dare to wear more vibrant tights.

Street Fashion in Reykjavik

Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland, but the cold weather there never stops people wearing vibrant color. I love how people there dare to put on anything, any color. Taking their cue from Bjork, Reykjavik street fashion junkies never let it snow on their style parade. The sky may be as white as the land this time of the year, but you'd never know it by the patterns and prints seen around Iceland this season. It's like a rainbow in the middle of a blizzard.
